Augusta Run Club will be hosting the fifth annual Savannah River Marathon. 
The event will be on Saturday October 17, 2026, and will include full marathon (7:30 a.m. start), half marathon (7:45 a.m. start) and 10K distances (8:00 a.m. start). Participation will be capped 275 runners total for all three distances.  Please note registration for all events will end at 7 p.m. on October 17th or when we hit our maximum of 275 runners, whichever comes first. Registrants that sign up by October 4th will be guaranteed a t-shirt.

All three events will start and end at the Sharon Jones Amphitheater in North Augusta, SC.  Each event will run along the North Augusta Greeneway, across the Savannah River, and along River Levy trail in Augusta GA.  The Crowne Plaza is adjacent to the start/finish line, and will be an extremely convenient place to stay for anyone coming in from out of town.  

There will be chip timing, and water stations every 2-3 miles. The trails and sidewalks will be fully open to other runners, walkers, cyclists, etc. Time limit for all events is 6 hours. There are no refunds for this event!

Packet pickup will be at Savannah River Brewing Company 813 5th Street, Augusta, Georgia on October 16, 2025 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

For the marathon and half marathon, awards will be given to the top 2 finishers (male and female) in the following categories:
Overall 
29 and under
30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70+ 

For the 10k, awards will be given to the top 3 overall finishers (male and female).
