The Big Recess is a one-day corporate athletic challenge bringing companies from across the Greater Augusta region together for an unforgettable day of competition, teamwork, and fun. Designed for businesses of all sizes and employees of all abilities, the event combines friendly competition, team building, networking, and plenty of fun, where work teams can compete in 14 sports events. The best-performing teams will take home bragging rights and The Big Recess Cup!
The event will be held Saturday, November 7 at Diamond Lakes Park starting at 8 a.m..

No, but we strongly encourage teams to dress alike—t-shirts rule the day! Matching shirts help our volunteers quickly identify teams.
351+ Employees - $2,250
151 – 350 Employees - $1,750
51 – 150 Employees - $1,250
Up to 50 Employees - $750
For businesses that have less than 20 and don’t want to compete in the team competition, they may register for 6 individual games for $350.
