World Championship Ice Racing Series hits the ice at James Brown Arena
The extreme and exotic world of championship ice racing will be hitting the ice in Augusta, GA on November 27th, 2010 at 7:30pm. The world’s top professional ice racers will travel to the James Brown Arena to do battle in the Augusta Round of the 35th Annual World Championship Ice Racing Series. Unleashed, lightning fast, motorcycle ice racing at its best! Tickets may be purchased online at www.georgialinatix.com, by phone at 1-877-4AUGTIX or at the James Brown Arena Box Office. This no holds barred, anything goes, motorsports competition, features oval track racing’s thoroughbreds – professional manufacturers’ world cup motorcycles and ice’s wild unlimited outlaw quads. The bikes are state-of-the-art, lightweight, high horsepower racing motorcycles that come from most of the major manufacturers.
Some twenty plus races will be contested at each championship round in approx 2 1/2 hours. When it’s over, champions will be crowned in each division competing.
